Description
Jaguar/ Daimler produced the short-wheelbase version of the XJ for just under a year, until autumn 1974. A mere 138 vehicles with a short wheelbase and manual gearbox were delivered. It is estimated that there are now only around 20 of these left worldwide that are still ‘roadworthy’.
This vehicle is therefore an absolute rarity, which also offers great driving pleasure. With just over 50, 000 miles on the clock, it was brought to Switzerland in October 2021 to have the various necessary work carried out here by specialists.
This vehicle was also featured in detail in the "Jaguar Enthusiast" in December 2024.
As is often the case with classic cars like this, there is some work to be done. Both rear wheel arches show signs of blistering. However, the necessary parts are going with the car, as well as a huge file of history. If you are looking for something rare and fun to drive, this is the car for you.
