Great spec BMW 650i with head-up display, DAB radio, auto-dipping main beams, memory/ heated seats, digital TV, folding mirrors and many more. I’ve owned this for an over 5 years and have enjoyed every minute. In my care it had a full rear suspension rebuild (shocks, springs, control arms and bushes, 4-wheel alignment) at Walker’s Autotech in Billingshurst; expensive job but transformed the handling and ride. It’s also been attended to by Steve Rowley in Cheltenham for roof position sensor and hydraulics plus several other items. All the servicing in my care has been at Dick Lovett BMW in Swindon; 3, servicea inc. the major service (spark plugs, drive belts). Prior to that it’s had a mix of BMW and independents, but always in the timescales as per BMW (13 in total). Aircon regassed and fragranced, blows nice and cold. Yes, it’s done over 100k but V8s are built for big miles; most of its time the engine is only running at 1500rpm and barely breaking a sweat. The tyres are all Pirelli Zero; fronts like new, rears have c. 5mm remaining. Everything works; radio, cd player, cruise control, roof, memory seats etc.
The car is 19yrs old so has some chips to the bonnet, small dent in the n/ sr 1/ 4 and the wheels have been refurbished at some point but will need doing again in the not too distant future. The car looks great and the bits above are small niggles. It’s been a weekend toy for me so has covered c. 2k miles a year in recent years, but gets a run at least once a week and has been garaged and attached to a trickle charger inbetween. I don’t ever do short trips in it and have regularly taken it on long 200+ mile runs without issue. Only selling as looking to try something else so sadly it’s time to part ways with the BMW. Currently dead set on a Saab 9-3 Viggen or 900 classic FPT on the million to one chance you want to swap…
Just to say the private plate isn’t included, will revert back to the 07-plate. Current MOT until Dec-26. Also as spotted by another member, the details incorrectly show it as a manual, it’s an auto (not SMG or manual). Full service history
