Condition & Transparency
The car presents exceptionally well both inside and out. The leather upholstery remains in excellent condition, the Burr Walnut trim retains a deep and attractive finish, and the vehicle drives exactly as a Super V8 should.
For complete transparency, cosmetic bodywork was professionally carried out in the past, including replacement of one door and one front wing following non-structural cosmetic damage. There has never been any accident-related structural damage to the vehicle.
In addition, the fabric covering on the sliding interior sunroof panel was removed after the original backing foam deteriorated with age, a well-known age-related issue affecting many Jaguars of this era. The panel itself remains fully intact and functional and can easily be re-trimmed if desired.
Summary

Viewings by appointment only. I have always had a particular appreciation for traditional luxury cars, and for me the X350 Super V8 represents the last of the truly classic Jaguars before the automotive world became dominated by screens, driver aids and downsized engines.
I bought this car because it combines everything I admire about the Jaguar marque. It has the elegance and presence of the great Jaguars of the past, yet beneath the classic styling sits a remarkably advanced aluminium chassis and one of Jaguar’s finest engines: the 4. 2-litre supercharged V8.
What attracted me most was the specification. British Racing Green over Ivory leather with Burr Walnut is, in my view, the quintessential Jaguar colour combination. It is exactly how a flagship Jaguar should look. Every time I open the garage door and see the car, it still feels special.
Unlike many modern performance cars, the Super V8 does not need to shout about its capabilities. It is wonderfully understated. It can cross a continent in complete comfort, yet with nearly 400 horsepower available it still delivers effortless performance whenever asked. The combination of refinement, craftsmanship and performance is something that very few modern cars manage to replicate.
Another reason I chose this example was its originality, low mileage, documented history and Dutch provenance. Finding a Super V8 that has not been modified, retains its original character and has been carefully preserved becomes increasingly difficult every year.
The aspect I will miss most is the sense of occasion the car provides. Whether it is a short drive on a summer evening or a long motorway journey, the Super V8 always feels special. It is a car that reminds you why Jaguar earned its reputation for building some of the world’s most charismatic luxury cars.
I am only offering it for sale because it is no longer being used as often as it deserves. My hope is that the next owner will appreciate and enjoy it in the same way I have.
