Description
This 1989 Škoda 125L is a genuine one-owner car from new and remains in remarkably original condition.
First registered on 24 February 1989 in Czechoslovakia, the car has covered 109, 145 km from new. It is powered by the original 1. 2-litre petrol engine (1174 cc) paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox.
The vehicle has never been involved in an accident and the body is free from rust. It retains its original black cloth upholstery. The current yellow seat covers were handmade by the owner and used for many years to protect the original seats, which remain preserved underneath. For many years it was used for family trips, holidays and everyday journeys. During the last approximately 16 years it has been largely retired from regular use and kept in a garage, while still being periodically driven, serviced, cleaned and maintained.

What makes this Škoda special is not only its condition, but its history. The car has spent its entire life with the same owner, a lady who is now 93 years old. She bought the car new in 1989 and cared for it throughout more than three decades of ownership.
This is not a restored car, nor a vehicle assembled from replacement parts. It is a genuine survivor with a documented story, original paperwork and continuous ownership from new.
The car represents a piece of late Czechoslovak automotive history. While many similar cars disappeared through rust, accidents or modifications, this example was preserved with care and respect. It still retains the character, appearance and atmosphere of the era in which it was built.
The family's wish is not simply to sell the car quickly, but to find the right new custodian—someone who appreciates originality, history and preservation, and who will continue to care for it in the future.
For collectors of Eastern European classics, original survivor cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find. A rust-free, one-owner Škoda 125L with its original registration documents and a fully traceable history is an opportunity that may not come again soon.
This is a car with a genuine story, and we hope its next chapter will be written by someone who values it as much as its first owner has for the last 37 years.
