1972 VW TYPE 2 Campervan
I’m selling on behalf of my father in law, this beautiful Vw type 2 Campervan. I helped him buy this back in 2017 and with almost 10 years of ownership, it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
In 2008, it had a restoration by the well known Volksmagic for over £17k. It’s held up very well and looks fantastic. I spoke to Lee and he remembers the van well and said it was a lovely van. Every time it’s out on the road it always gets attention, because of how nice it is.
In 2015 it had a new 1641 twin port engine supplied by Just Kampers, only 10k miles ago.

Full main hook up with twin battery’s.
Swivel passenger seat

It’s just had a service and MOT in April with zero advisories. Obviously it’s MOT and Tax exempt, but wanted to MOT it to show it’s good. It’s always been garaged in this ownership.
Letter from VW Heritage stating build date of December 1972, but registered in 1973.
It shows only 48k miles on the speedo. I would imagine that’s been round the clock, but also might not have been. When restored in 2008, the MOT mileage was 19k miles and had only 3 previous owners at the time, so you never know! Now 5 previous owners, so very low owners for one of these.
It needs to be seen to be appreciated.
