This Capri has 5 previous owners, I acquired it in May 2017 from a friend who had was moving house and would have nowhere to keep it. He had upgraded the car to a 2 litre with a five speed box and RS 2000 escort wheels. It was previously a 1. 6. It has been well maintained and garaged since I have owned it. The engine has been compression tested and as my mechanic said, its bang on. The odometer of 6492 is current for the engine and gearbox update, so the original 1. 6 would have been round the clock. Its has always been MOT'd since I have owned it. According to the previous owner it had been stored in a barn for approximately 16 years prior to him owning it. It has had a respray in the original colour scheme as the old paintwork was tired, there is a new radio in the glove compartment which I have never used as the door speakers need replacing, apart from that its very good condition. Whenever I go anywhere it does create a lot in attention and people do like to have a chat about the car and normally tell me about the capri they used to have and wish they had kept it. Unfortunately I have to sell it as I have 2 bad knee's which need replacements, so not so easy for me to get in and out of the car. The front seats have also been refurbished.
