For sale is my BMW Z3 2. 8 inline 6 pre-facelift widebody roadster in good usable condition with strong maintenance history and supporting paperwork. Always garaged and warmed up correctly when used. The car comes with a fresh MOT; during its initial inspection, a tester mistakenly noted corrosion holes on a trailing arm, but a follow-up garage inspection noted it was nowhere near as bad as initially stated. The metal was professionally ground back, cleaned, and verified structurally solid and safe before rightly passing its test. Generally an excellent spec with some tasteful OEM+ touches:-Factory Limited Slip Differential (LSD 25%) -Mesh Wind Deflector-Hardtop Preparation-Heated electric leather Sports seats (Oregon/ Schwarz), good condition with some typical light bolster wear on drivers side -Harman Kardon premium audio system-M Leather Steering Wheel & Roll-Bar Protection System -Kenwood aftermarket stereo & Carbon fibre centre console with USB charging portsThe car comes with extensive history showing extensive work carried out over the years including:-Replacement Soft-Top Convertible Hood: Fitted new by a specialist upholstery garage in November 2019. -Major Bodywork & Rust Prevention (Nov 2020): Brand new outer sills (left and right) and a rust-free rear offside quarter panel were fitted by Lloyds Refinishers. -At the time of the 2020 bodywork, the internal sides and bottom edges were treated with protective Raptor stone-chip. The box section sills, hidden surfaces behind the rear bumper, and rear quarter arches were completely pumped and coated with Waxoyl. -Fitted with upgraded Bilstein rear shocks, Eibach springs, and Powerflex polyurethane bushings-Upgraded Braking System: Fitted with HEL braided brake hoses (Feb 2021), a new left rear caliper (Dec 2022), and front near-side caliper (June 2018).-New battery last year Overall the car is in really good condition however does have a few minor quirks of age:-Slight flaking on the passenger side rear arch-Early bubbling on a small area along the top of the passenger side door-Drivers side seat doesn’t move up or down, all other elements of both seats work perfectly.-Roof mechanism needs a little nudge to get started going down but once moving will work fine, will go up with no issue.-Passenger door does not work the central locking, will lock and unlock the individual door but not the drivers side, the drivers side door and boot locking mechanisms work as should.-There are a couple of minor dents on the doors and the front bumper has some stone chips however nothing inconsistent with age. Overall a very well specced and cared for car with a few oem+ mods to enhance driving and usability, I have tried to be as honest as possible with the car but feel free to ask any other questions.
