Description
A stunning 3 former keepers MGB Roadster L registered rebuilt on a new * British Heritage body shell* with 72031 miles, last owner since 1989 . Finished in immaculate red with contrasting black upgraded leather upholstery. We have a huge history file detailing all new parts bought 2000 to 2002 for the rebuild and it was mot tested in 2002 at 71840 miles although the rebuild was not completely finished. The car then went untouched and little use only covering 191 miles until present date. We bought the car in a near complete state and decided to strip it again and repaint as the body was in beautiful condition with no repairs needed as you would expect of a heritage shell but it was painted in metallic red and not period solid red , we have a photo album showing before during and after available upon request. We then re assembled the car and fitted new chrome bumpers and had the wheels powder coated as it deservered , aswell as re wax oil protecting the vehicles body. The shell origanally was treated with a protection similar to the factory vw sealant underneath and remains excellent . The panel fit is excellent and the interior is excellent along with a quality cloth black hood. The engine bay is extremely good with some detailing . We also have many invoices and mot certificates dating back before the restoration. The car drives beautifully with perfect oil pressure and temperature, smooth operating overdrive and transmission, also fitted with electronic ignition. The car represents terrific value with heritage shells currently around the 17k mark. This is just a very brief outline of the car and viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate. I can assist with delivery and would consider another classic car in part exchange with adjustment either way.
