Description
Rare 12 Seater 110 TD5 Station WagonUSA Exportable - First Registered 01/ 09/ 2000. Six Months MOTPurchased in 2022 with the intention of keeping her forever, this vehicle has been maintained accordingly during my ownership and has never let me down. She has been a reliable daily driver during that period and has taken my family and friends on many adventures around Scotland. The 12-seat configuration is rare (especially in TD5 form) and is unbeatable for family trips. ISOFIX bars allow three full size child seats to be easily fitted across the middle row of seats (one pictured). Four roof bars are included with the sale (three pictured). Ideal for work and play. Exmoor Trim Radiator Blind (pictured) included for cold weather running. Too much maintenance work done to list here but I would be happy to share the file with any potential buyers. She is in original spec bar some minor improvements to wipers, windscreen washers, LED lights etc. Numerous spares can be included with the sale. The chassis is solid and has a heavy duty galvanised rear cross member. It has been treated with Dinitrol by previous owners and latterly Lanoguard during my ownership. The bulkhead has had several panels replaced to bring it up to scratch and is watertight - a rare thing for a defender of this age!I have a two -post lift on site so any thorough inspection is welcome. Private plate not included. Please call for further details. I will be happy to take additional pictures and videos of the car if required. Sensible offers invited. Purchased to be my 'forever vehicle' - this Land Rover has done everything asked of her with aplomb. The rare 12 seat configuration is unbeatable for family trips - easily carrying two families over all terrains! The TD5 is arguably the best Defender engine. Many will rightly point out that the 300TDI (with no electronics whatsoever) is best for overlanding but for UK driving the TD5 is a much more tractable unit and the distinctive 5-cylinder thrum is very memorable for anyone who grew up in the early 2000s!
