Description
An original 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. Built in San Jose, California and spent most of its life in Nevada. Imported to the UK in 2016. Still wearing its original Emberglo paint work. No rust, but plenty of patina. Knocks and dings telling its history. Including a dodgy partial spray on the passenger fender & door. If you want perfection look elsewhere. This car has buckets of character. The last custodian upgraded every mechanical item.
New 331 stroker V8 based on a 302 block. Rebuilt C4 auto gearbox. Updated and lowered suspension. High torque starter motor. New battery, aluminium radiator, CSRP front disc brakes. Updated rear drums. Not for the faint hearted. No power steering, no power brakes. Interior is cream deluxe pack with bronze carpets. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wearing 205/ 60R15 front and 225/ 60R15 rear tyres. 2. 5” stainless steel exhaust. Updated rear lenses with amber LED flashers to make it UK compliant. New trunk trim. Plenty of paperwork and receipts of all work done. Carried out by a motor engineer who worked for a prestigious manufacturer. The interior has a couple of marks on the drivers door. The carpet looks new. For a sixty year old car, the paint work has really stood the test of time! Please note, a lot of pictures show the car with Styled wheels. They are not available.
