It has covered just 66, 000 miles from new, though this may rise slightly as it is still in light use. The car comes with a long MOT valid until 18/ 01/ 2027. If you are looking for a standard silver or black SLK, there are plenty out there on the market. However, you will struggle to find another one in factory Mars Red. Many Mercedes enthusiasts know that the factory faced major clear-coat peeling issues with this specific paint code, which unfortunately meant many units were discounted or stripped over the years. This particular car is one of the rare survivors because it has been garage-kept, meaning the bodywork looks incredible for its age. The car is currently used as a weekend car by my wife, following two previous lady owners. It comes with a fantastic maintenance history, boasting 9 services in total, 5 of which are official Mercedes Main Dealer stamps. It benefited from its latest fresh service in June 2025, so it is completely ready to enjoy. Mechanically, the 3. 0-litre V6 engine and automatic gearbox are exceptionally smooth. There are absolutely no unwanted noises, knocks, or rattles, which makes it very evident how well this vehicle has been cared for. Underneath, the car is completely solid with zero underbody rust issues. The only minor cosmetic flaw is some slight paint bubbling on the driver-side front panel. Luckily, because this is a simple bolt-on wing panel, it can easily be sanded and painted by a local bodyshop for around £100 to £200 if it bothers you.
