Description
1998 Subaru Legacy GTB Here for sale is my 1998 Subaru Legacy GTB - import in 2009 if I remember correctly and I am the 2nd UK owner! Originally a factory 5 speed which inevitably went bang as they all do at some point, whilst at Triton Motorsport where it spent most of its life for repairs, upgrades and maintenance the previous owner asked to have the 5 speed rebuilt but just happened at the time they had 2 six speeds from Blobeye STI’s sat in the garage so seemed only right one of them went into the Legacy! And it was worth it, the gearing not only for spirited driving but cruising is so much better than a 5 speed! It had its engine rebuilt by Triton Motorsport in 2010, 2012 & 2015 and I believe since then it has done no more then 73k miles, the dash reads 200k which is a mix of miles and km but as I said engine is on no miles at all. Costing upwards of £7500+It has also been professionally remapped by the renowned Subaru mapper/ expert Bob Rawle making a healthy 330bhp and 330lbft which is plenty for this JDM wagon, the VOD between turbos is almost non existent! A few mods to list that stand out:- Bilstein shocks with Tein lowerings springs- Hayward and scott midpipe and back box (good rumble but not loud)- White line anti roll bars- White line anti lift kit- Universal front lip- Neon kit (yes I was living the 90s car meet wet dream)- Baileys BOV- Silicone intercooler pipes- Silicone inlet turbo pipe (imported from Australia and installed)- 4 pot wrx brakes on the front- All speakers and sub upgraded with bluetooth head unit- Very rare Airplex bonnet deflector (imported from NZ)- SWRD 340lph fuel pump (2008 hatch sti)- Braided brake linesWork done in my ownership:- Spark plugs- Coil packs- Oil- Oil filter- Air filter- Replace original worn plastic intercooler pipes with silicone versions- Replace original worn plastic inlet turbo pipe with silicone version - MAF sensor- Multiple vacuum lines replaced- Replacement Bilstein shocks with Tein lowering springs- Rear pads- Knock sensor- Battery- Multiple solenoids- Throttle body gasket- Aux belt- Totalling £2000+Its sat on almost fresh wrx alloys in black, with good tread tyres all roundInterior is so close to being perfect, has one tiny mark on the dash, the typical centre cup holder broken and thats about it! Electric seats, all original down to the floor/ boot mats (half leather and cloth) Original split dog guardFront and rear bumpers recently resprayed before my purchase, stone chips to bonnet, its 28 years old so has some marks and blemishes, usual paint fade above windscreenIt has surface rust underneath, arches are pretty solid and so are sills, its never been welded and still only surface which is pretty impressiveThe history with this car is ridiculous, it has had so much money spent on it and every receipt kept! Its a really honest fun practical JDM wagon, that Im sure will put a smile on your face, whether your on a roadtrip, hauling stuff to the tip, or popping to the shops and especially when you want to have some fun!Welcome to come and view the car, we will go for a drive, ask any questions! I have some spares and original bits to go with it too! I have a ton of photos proving when parts were replaced along with email and hard copy invoicesMay have missed some stuff so ask and offer and view away!
