Description
I purchased the Defender from a well known, Land Rover specialist and dealer, Walton Motors, in December 2024.
Since then, it has primarily been used as a weekend car or on camping / outdoor trips including a recent 600 mile round trip to the Scottish highlands.
I am looking to sell owing to the need for a more practical, family orientated, 4x4.
The Defender has an MOT until December 2026 and no advisories were noted in the previous MOT test.
Work/ maintenance carried out during my ownership includes:
Full service - September 2025
Work to investigate and remedy fuel/ oil leaks - September 2025
Installation of Wolf wheels and 235/ 85/ 16 Comforser CF1100 AT tyres.
The Defender is currently fitted with a roof rack/ bars which will be removed before sale.
Overall condition ought to be described as a good driver’s example. There are some age related cosmetic marks such as pitting to the rear door and some minor dents / scuffs to certain panels but nothing that detracts from the overall condition of the vehicle.
The chassis is solid with some work described in previous MOT tests. There are no visible signs of corrosion and the rear crossmember has been replaced at some point prior to my ownership.
In terms of interior, rear bench seats have been fitted along with rear seatbelts and sliding windows. Both front and rear seats have been fitted with Masai seat covers in red with white piping which compliments the exterior colour.
The interior has also been carpeted in the rear and over the seat box. The floor in the footwell remains uncovered with the exception of mats.
The car is fitted with a radio and cd player with Bluetooth functionality and has had a raptor panel with additional voltage and oil pressure gauges fitted.
As can be seen, a later XS style grille and light surrounds have been fitted along with LED headlights with integrated halo indicators/ running lights.
I am happy to provide additional photos / videos as requested.
