1998 Land Rover Defender 90 300 Tdi Nut & Bolt Restoration
Local Car supplied new by our local main dealer Conwy Land Rover. 1 Owner from new, although a couple of V5 changes. Galvanised Chassis, Bespoke Williams Classics build, finished in Cappuccino with heritage styling. Genuine factory 300 Tdi Defender.
Vehicle first registered 1st August 1998, making this one of the very last 300 Tdi models, this is on an S Reg. This vehicle has been subject to a compete in house restoration. This vehicle is an original Uk supplied vehicle. It was supplied new by our local main dealer Conwy, Land Rover.
It will also be supplied fully serviced by ourselves and given a full 12 month mot. The vehicle has now covered 72, 000 miles.
The vehicle has been subject to a complete in house restoration by ourselves. This included the vehicle being stripped down to the chassis and has been restored onto a new galvanised chassis so this vehicle will now be around for many more years. Many new parts replaced or refurbished to list some, bushes, brakes all round including callipers, discs, pads, wheel bearings, radiator, headlight bezels, door sections, bump stops. The vehicle has had all new lights, all door, window and roof seals replaced, door hinges and handles, new nuts and bolts on the whole body. Brand new genuine Land Rover headlining. We have replaced the cam belt and fully serviced the vehicle. We have tried to future proof the restoration this has included using stainless steel bolts and also some parts have been galvanised and then painted so they still look as they should but now have that extra protection. Many many hours have been spent restoring this vehicle.
The body is also excellent having had a bare metal respray, this has included new door skins, new sills. This has been a very thorough restoration. This vehicle is all original inside and all the dash, seats and headlining are in immaculate condition. 3 seats in the front makes this vehicle more desirable than the later Defenders which only had 2.
It will be supplied with a full 12 months mot and will come fully serviced.
This is a very rare opportunity to acquire one of the 300 Tdi Pickups. Unique in such highly restored condition. I think this is by far one of the best, examples on the market.
