Bought by me on 30 August 2022. From a dealer who originally wanted it for himself. The vehicle was in good condition considering its age but as with all Toyotas i had to check for rust issues. Fortunately most of the rust underneath was surface and I had it treated (sprayed just in case). The vehicle sits on my driveway. Covered sometimes (car cover included)
Brakes and discs plus pads / calipers have been replaced as needed. Two new tyres on the front. (Also have two more to sell)
Power steering tubes except the pump (which is working) was replaced which originally was losing some pressure plus fluid but is now working perfectly!
Body work is reasonable with minor dents scratches. Body panels are easy to replace.
Headlights have been polished and may need re-polishing in a year or so.
Engine runs great. Daily driving is low mileage. Never pushed very hard although I know these cars can be driven on a race track. Was 72k miles which since 2022 have added only 10k miles. Engine oil (fully synthetic). My advise is to replace regurlarly, but that is personal taste.
All electrics work except for aerial re-tractor up/ down. So does not automatically go up/ down but aerial works fine!
Interior is absolutely fine and has a nice sounding cd/ usb/ radio. I am over 6ft with plenty of headroom / legroom.
Storage for two small cases behind seats and storage in front with spare wheel and kit.
Canvas fliptop in good condition. Plus I have a hard top which itself is worth up to £1000.
Selling due to space and having bought a van.
Always wanted a mid engine vehicle such as a porche but i could never afford the upkeep where as the Toyota is much more forgiving and yet fun to drive!
I have driven 10k miles over 4 years. It is lovely in the summer with the softtop down and practical in the winter with the hardtop. I have driven it to Wales and to France where its one of the most comfortable small cars i have driven for being over 6ft tall.
