Description
This 1939 SS 3. 5 saloon, is in good condition in need of some paint work.
Purchased by our late father Tom Chalmers in 1982, and restored by him over a couple of years.
It has been in dry storage for a few years, covering 367 miles since 2007.
We have tax disc's going back to 1952, as well as the original log book and all mot's since 1982.
Interior is in fair to good, original condition.
Solid rust free car as can be seen from underneath in the photo's.
Mileage reads 52288, but actually covered 72320, as had clock changed in 1996.
When first purchased, the previous owner, a retired army officer had removed all the SS emblems and spinners on the wheels. These were obviously replaced by our father, as he liked everything to be original.
Something we’re sure everyone who knew him within the Jaguar drivers club, would agree.
Car drives and sounds as it should for a classic SS.
