Description
This is my Austin 10 Cambridge that is now up for sale. Ive owned it the car for around 9 years. In that time I've put new tyres on it, and gaskets and spark plugs or what ever has been required. I brought the car as a non runner, so I got the car running, used it locally for shows and just enjoying pre war motoring. The car was restored by the previous owner, there are some areas showing some bubbling, but it is still fairly presentable. During the restoration, the floor has been welded, it's solid, but the welding isn't to the highest standard. The seats are original, small cut in the driver's seat, and the rear bench seat isn't in great condition, hence why it is covered to try to protect it, and make to useable. The carpets have been refreshed. Electronic ignition has been fitted. The car runs and drives, currently the fueling needs a little bit of fettling as it isn't revving cleanly at all times, I'll continue to look at this and see if I can improve it. The car comes with some spare parts such as:Front and rear axles for restoration Fuel tankSteering wheelWindscreen Side window glassI also have some period books and manuals to go with the car, plus some receipts of the work I e done in the past. I am only selling the car, as I've brought another prewar car, so the Austin is loosing its garage space, so needs go to someone else who can continue to enjoy it. The Austin 10 is a great way into a pre war motoring.
