Original UK mint genuine Rothmans Edition, dual headlight and MPH speedo. 1986 VF1000R-G Rothmans Edition with only 7, 486 miles in mint condition. 998cc 90-degree V4 liquid cooled, with gear driven double OHCs and 16 valves. All original exhaust and tool kit. Air assisted front forks and rear mono shock all intact and working. Features Honda Torque Reactive Anti-Dive Control (TRAC), and Pro-link suspension with 3-way remote adjustable rebound damping.
Brakes - rebuilt 2025 with Goodridge Classic lines, Powerhouse stainless steel pistons and seals, and brake master cylinders rebuilt with new Honda seal kits.
Cooling System - cleaned and back flushed 2025, with new temp sensors, thermostat and radiator cap. Both electric fans work as they should.
Lights - all bulbs replaced with LED including LED flasher unit, and new headlights relay.
Charging System - new UV MOSFET Regulator/ Rectifier.
Ignition System - new TEC coils, new heavy copper HT leads, new Carmo Electronics digital spark units and Iridium spark plugs.
Carburettors - Balance checked 2025 and new air cleaner.
Recent fully synthetic oil Motul 7100 & filter change.
All original parts included plus Honda original owners/ workshop manual.
Will qualify as a Historic vehicle from April 2027.

Only one previous owner who bought new in spring 1986 from QB Motorcycles of Quarry Bank. All MOTs back to 1990 verify mileage. Acquired in 2014 for occasional summer use and investment. Kept dry garaged and in bag over winter.
Inspired by the 1982 Honda RS1000RW endurance and TT-F1 racer campaigned by Joey Dunlop, the VF1000R is a homologation special engineered to qualify Honda's V4 layout for production racing. Incorporates race-bred technology, with a full aerodynamic fibreglass fairing in the Honda Rothmans Racing Colours, and high-spec componentry. The VF1000R-G was the final 1986 version, and that alone offered the Rothmans option.
