1972 BMW R50/ 5 R50 Airhead Motorbike Bike Blue.
I'm selling this bike on behalf of my father who unfortunately is too old to ride it any more. It has been dry stored for the last few years and hasn't been run. We fitted a new battery and it started up but it may need some TLC / recommissioning before it's ready for the road again.
He said he changed the handlebar at some point but it comes with the original one and the cables that go with it. Even comes with the original tire pump under the seat!
He had many great years of use out of it and it was always well looked after and maintained. Always kept in the garage. It has only done 28228 miles and he has owned it for over 10 years. It's an extremely rare bike and was only manufactured between 1970 - 1973.
