I bought ''Albert'' over 10 years ago following the sale of another classic just to ''tinker'' and keep my hand in.. The .. tinkering'' has resulted in numerous upgrades including remote brake servo,, electronic ignition, canister type oil filter, various gauges , spotlights etc. The seats are modern all in one adjustable type but the original seat frames and metalwork are included. I was driving Albert regularly until 18 months ago . Tried to start up recently but in spite of a good spark and fuel wouldn't fire up .. Suspect a blockage in the carb.. However at nearly 87 my ''tinkering''days are over and have sadly decided he has to go. Hate to think he might end up in a ''crusher'' or the angle grinder. There must be someone out there prepared to give him a new ''lease of life''. Would appreciate ''genuine'' enquiries only please as it would appear there is a new generation of ''tyre kickers'' out there. Thank you. Cute and reliable and brings on a smile.
