1985 ALFA ROMEO GTV 2. 0 FINISHED in ROSSO ALFA with BLACK SPORTS CLOTH. Being one of the cars from the last few years of Type 116 GTV production, this beautiful low mileage example is also fitted with the later Alfa Romeo black cloth sports seats with fishnet headrests, and a manual sunroof. Prior to my ownership, this car was the subject of a major refurbishment, meaning that this Giugiaro designed coupe really is as wonderful to look at and drive as the day it left the Alfa Romeo factory. The 130bhp 2. 0 litre engine and rear mounted 5-speed transaxle gearbox (providing perfect balance) were fully serviced, with a new clutch assembly also being fitted. All driveline and suspension bushes were replaced, along with new sports shock absorbers and springs to give a slightly lowered stance, and which looks absolutely perfect. The three propshaft rubber couplings were renewed, as were the brake callipers, discs, pads, master cylinder, brake system compensator and brake lines. The wheels were professionally refurbished and fitted with new tyres. Too many other Items to list were renewed or replaced, and the car has covered just 49k miles since new (having done around 1500 trouble-free miles in my ownership).
