1938 Commer Woody wagon

Extremely rare, possibly the only one built and almost certainly the only one to exist.
Still has it's original Crosley Roamio radio (not currently working) and add-on windscreen defroster, and two fold down rear seats.
1185cc 4 cylinder engine, four speed all synchromesh gearbox including first gear ( apparently an industry first.
First registered in Peterborough on October 01 1938 (or so it's EG4984 registration number would suggest) which is transferable and itself is valued at approximately £2000. It was registered in the Banbury area for some years before joining the private collection of the late David Lucas of Hawkshaw Bury.
Very well preserved car for being 88 years old, very solid body, very good chassis, very good wood, paint recently re-done and is very good, very good tyres, runs and drives and stops well, and has proved to be quite reliable having been driven regularly to shows here on the Island.
