Description
Rare Deon replica built in 1996 by a railway draftsman and his son one of the last Deon kit’s built before the company ceased trading . The car was first registered in 1997 . I took ownership in 2006 with only 5500 miles on it , there is a comprehensive list of build progress , photos , and receipts with the car .
Due to illness I sorned the car from 2022
Till now put a fresh mot on it July 2026
The car is fitted with a 2. 9 v6 cologne Ford engine and a fiesta RS gearbox
The gears are in reverse order making the car unique !
Roadholding is fantastic , and sounds superb . The car doesn’t have power steering or abs or traction control
So it’s a car you do have to drive and enjoy !
The unique shape and lines of the car give as much pleasure as it does driving it , I mainly take it to car shows local
And around central Scotland !
Due to old age it’s time to pass it on to some younger enthusiasts
