Offered for sale is a truly unique and extremely rare Abarth 850 Sestrière Zagato from 1959. The car comes out a private collection.
This Sestriere version (featuring the big air scoops and the distinctive upright headlights but later on changed to the looks of a Double Bubble front). Only around 20 units are believed to have been built by Zagato in this exact configuration, making it a nearly impossible find today. This specific rally configuration is significantly scarcer than the standard 'Double Bubble' models.
It is a restoration project that will require metalwork, paint, and a complete mechanical overhaul. However, honest and unmolested complete basis.
Original engine included: The period-correct Fiat Type 100 engine block comes with the car. This is the exact core block used by Carlo Abarth for these historic racers. Engine turns by hand.
