A brief summary of this Defender's (Tau) life so far:
In 2003, Tau was registered in the Netherlands from England with 72, 000 miles on the meter at the time. Since then, he has essentially known only one life: traveling. Not a daily driver, but one you take out for adventure, discovering new places, and making memories. His previous owner therefore converted him into an overlander, with the big dream of traveling to Africa with the family. After that, he regularly traveled through Europe during the summer holidays. Between trips, Tau was always stored in a well-maintained and dry place, which has had positive effects on the Defender's condition. Additionally, a lot of practical features and 'new gadgets' have been added over the years, making him a very complete and unique 'overland vehicle'. A year ago, we were fortunate enough to acquire this Defender. After the purchase, we spent three months giving Tau a full 'anti-rust treatment', primarily because we wanted to preserve the chassis's good condition and extend the car's lifespan. Subsequently, we set off with Tau on a fantastic 5-month journey through Southern Europe. Although we have grown very attached to the way of traveling and to Tau himself, unfortunately, keeping him does not yet fit into our current stage of life and choices. That is why we have decided to give a new person/ couple the same opportunity we received a year ago. Tau is currently fully roadworthy, ready to start a new adventure immediately, and can last for many more years.
