I bought this Audi 22 years ago and in that time i replaced 4 x Koni adjustable shocks (lifetime warranty) 4 x slightly lowed springs, radiator, heater matrix, poly bushed front suspension arms and anti roll link bars, full set of genuine mats, 4 x new window switches (drivers door)
The car was dry stored from 2016-2021 then i recommissioned her, replacing auxiliary radiator, Brembo grooved and cross drilled front discs (which greatly improve stopping) front pads, rear discs and pads, in the last two years its has new front pads, rear discs and pads, exhaust rubbers, 5 x B4 10 spoke alloys with new 205/ 50/ 15 toyo T1R tyres (the car will come with the original 5 x 14" aero alloys) rear track rods, four wheel alignment, replacement injector cooling fan, repair to odometer, complete re-wire of the boot lid due to broken wires, complete re-spray due to the original base coat crazing and replacement of the two front wings and bonnet using genuine second hand Audi parts which were rust free, new alternator the original failed after 36 years which is testament to how well built these cars are.
I have nearly every mot from new, £1000s of receipts all the hand books and 3 x keys.
The car has a new mot and passed again with no advisories. It always had regular servicing which is backed up by the receipts. Timing belt, aux belts and water pump were replaced less than 3000 miles ago.
Only down side the n/ s mirror doesn't move, the motor works fine though, the drivers seat requires a repair on the bolster and the head lining could do with replacing. On the upside the car will be tax exempt in 3 years.
