Very nice standard 1979 Z1300 with Delkevic full stainless system. Putting back on as a classified now as accepted an offer from guy who never contacted me afterwards, despite sending him contact details and invoice etc.

Previous owner brought in i believe from States in 2024. Had new rear shocks fitted then. Maybe tyres as well as are excellent.
Just had fresh oil and filter, plugs and caps. Set of new NGK plugs as spares. Battery near new.
Also just had new carb diaphragms and complete Keysters kits fitted. I have set for equal vac by ear as have no gauges, so could do with peaking up properly. Also done the forum mod of 5. 5 to 3mm restriction for the choke circuit to each carb. Last one I had pro tuned and set on dyno, makes massive difference.
Early bikes with smaller 4l sump are no problem provided keep on centre stand in garage, or block up the prop stand a bit. Only folk that kept them on prop, fired straight up, and shot up the road like a loon made a problem. Like Goldwing, K series, and boxer BMW the oil will work across to left of engine, and pool a bit. Just needs levelling up, starting, and just allow the circulation to take place. Most normal folk do that........ think it was an American thing? Impatient.
Selling as have just impulse bought a very modified Z13 from N Ireland to play with, so could do with some space and funds back in. Pricing it at realistic start price no reserve. Any inspection welcome.

Poss swops big Harley...... interesting bike or project...... twin cam 1200GS. May go for a Fat Bob or Street Bob again, prefer 1690 later lump.
