A beautiful Volvo V70 T5 which has unfortunately fell into a poor state.
A great MOT history which shows that it has been looked after once upon a time, and basically a completely rust free example. Beautiful spec, with the rare 417 colour code, beige interior, sunroof and 7 seater options, with some TLC this car could be beautiful again.
Unfortunately there are mechanical issues that make it too much of a project for me - I bought it as a donor car for my T5 manual but it’s just too nice to scrap!
Completely dead battery, quite a few dings around the car (as shown in photos) and an apparently serious engine issue thrown in too…
The previous owner said he bought it and ran it for a while, then it started coughing and sputtering pretty seriously and he parked it up and left it.
These cars are becoming rarer and rarer and in this spec, I’d be surprised to see another with the potential this had. Having owned these car and with my own twin car on the drive with a manual gearbox, I can’t tell you how great these cars can be when they’re up and running.
Open to offers or P/ X for the right car - I’d love to see this go to an enthusiast to be fixed up and enjoyed.
