Age-related cosmetic issues, no major dents or other damage but stone chips, small dinks here and there, blown interior door cards and general degradation, wear and tear to be expected for a 27 year old car with 188k miles.
Very small bubbling underneath drivers side wing mirror and on tailgate under the wiper shaft.
Solid underneath, surface corrosion only.
Minor engine oil leak - has always been there and not worsened in my 14 years of ownership.
I use fully synthetic oil - normally Castrol Edge 5W-40
Tailgate remote lock not working - tailgate can be locked manually from inside the car using cords attached to the lock. When unlocked, the tailgate can be opened from outside the car using the manual handle.
Central locking starting to stick a bit, maybe just requires lubrication.
Alarm siren no longer functional, was never an issue for me. When it was working it would go off in windy conditions.
Aircon not functional. Was previously on and off, so the compressor might come back to life with the cable-tie fix.

Rear disc dust shields replaced, handbrake fitting kit and springs. Cabin filter - Summer 2026
Timing belt and water pump (Gates), SKF tensioner all replaced - Summer 2025
Oil and filters - Summer 2025 (service light on now)
Radiator (Nissens) - Summer 2023
Front Right wishbone replaced Spring 2024
Front Left wishbone, wheel bearing, outer CV boot replaced Spring 2026
Also front disc dust covers and lower strut bolts replaced, left and right.
Rear shocks (KYB Excel-G) and shock mounts - June 2024
ETM replaced with Volvo main dealer supplied recon unit May 2021 (I believe these units are remanufactured with contactless sensors so should last well) - no receipt for this however, have mislaid.
I've owned and maintained this incredible car as my regular driver since 2012. Not in daily use, but has regular long journeys, and it's always been an absolute joy to drive.
Drives and performs superbly still. Engine, handling, brakes are spot on.
Fairly good history file prior to my ownership. I've printed out email receipts for just about everything i've done on the car.
