Key Technical Details:
Bodywork: Fitted with a brand-new aftermarket Chinese fairing kit in the classic blue/ white racing scheme.
Exhaust: Currently returned to a completely standard factory system.
Cooling System: The radiator fan did not kick in automatically, so a neat manual override switch has been fitted. It works perfectly and allows you to manually keep the bike cool in heavy traffic.
EXUP Valve: The valve is currently seized (a very common trait on these models), but the bike still starts up, runs, and rides well.
Cosmetic note: There is a small dent on the fuel tank from the historic low-speed spill detailed below.

I have owned this bike since 2016, having bought it alongside my YZF750 out of long-term storage in a family member's barn.
Over the last decade, it has been an incredible machine—taking me all around Scotland for my stag do and serving as a highly reliable daily commuter for 5 years.
The bike unfortunately suffered a low-speed spill at a hairpin on the local Three Sisters circuit. While the speed was low, the bike rolled over, which ruined the original factory bodywork and bent the handlebars. (I still have original seat cowl and lower fairings).
The bike has been fully repaired and recommissioned back into a road-legal, usable state. The handlebars have been replaced, and a fresh aftermarket fairing kit was fitted to bring back its classic look.
The mechanical components were thoroughly inspected, the standard exhaust was re-fitted, and the bike has successfully passed an MOT since the incident, proving it is structurally sound and straight.
There remains a small indentation on the fuel tank where the old bars made contact during the spill. It is a deeply missed bike, but due to growing family responsibilities, it simply isn't getting the use it deserves anymore.
Tyres are michelin road 5's with barely any use, fitted in 2024.
