Owned by me for the past 14 years:
1965 VW Beetle Deluxe.
Drives beautifully, stops perfectly, looks ace. Stock standard, never welded. Original tool roll and VW Birth Certificate. Converted prior to my ownership to 12V electrics.
I imported it from LA and cherished it ever since. It's kept in lock up garage, driven regularly and never in the rain. It's lovely and the pictures don't properly do it justice. If you love these cars you'll know what you're looking at, and I'm really looking for an enthusiast who will look after it and enjoy it as I have done.
I had it painted soon after I brought it to the UK - in original colour. It still looks great.
Birth Certificate states that, among other details, it was ordered with 2 X locking doors which was quite unusual then. As Terry's Beetles noticed last month. Was built on 1st March 1965.
