The body is presented in its stunning Agave Green shade, applied in direct gloss lacquer in accordance with period finishes. The chrome trim has been fully re-chromed by a specialist, and the interior has been completely refurbished by a professional trimmer, faithfully restoring the original atmosphere.
Mechanically, the car has been comprehensively rebuilt. The entire electrical system has been renewed with a conversion to 12 volts, as has the braking system. To improve safety and road manners without spoiling the character of the car, it is fitted with front disc brakes, a front anti-roll bar, an adjustable front beam, and a removable rear skirt—making mechanical work far easier.
The engine is a 1, 776cc flat-four, fully rebuilt in 2017 and developing around 90 bhp, mated to the original gearbox. This preparation delivers clearly stronger performance than the original-era unit while still retaining the Beetle’s character and feel.
The car comes with its Volkswagen certificate of origin, its administrative documents, and a substantial restoration file including various invoices.
