Volkswagen Beetle 1200, type 11 D 11, year 1979 (registered 1980). Original black Perugia plates, chassis 11A0007101 matching the registration document, supplementary sheet and identification plate. Two owners in 47 years, original VW period handbook and maintenance log present. Car maintained in excellent condition, a precious family heirloom, presented as a perfect wedding gift.
Complete restoration in 2012 for an important event: full mechanical and bodywork overhaul, with replacement of all weatherstripping sets (wings, handles, window seals, lights) – essential work on these vehicles – plus numerous routine and major mechanical jobs carried out to ensure reliability.
For the event the car completed a journey of approximately 430km.
Since restoration it has been kept in a garage and started regularly to maintain its integrity. Current mileage: 62, 497 km.

Sound underside, treated and protected (see photos). Original 1200 boxer engine (1192 cc, 37 bhp), overhauled carburettor, new battery along with dozens of mechanical components replaced during routine and major maintenance. Chrome trim, hub caps and lights all in order.
