Description
MGB V8 Convertible 1971. 3. 9 ltr very rare Serpentine Rover engine with LT77 reconditioned gearbox. MGC differential. Uprated Gaz rear shocks. SD1 reconditioned front calipers. Advance Autowire Custom V8 wiring loom. Aluminium radiator, twin electric cooling fans. Jaguar cooling vents in the bonnet. Supaslot alloys. Rechromed bumpers (not Chinese), Speedo recalibrated and dash uprated as per photos. Excellent hood, recovered seats, new interior carpets. Twin 12volt batteries. Twin system MGOC stainless exhausts. Built by me some years ago but only covered just over 100 miles since so there are some build photos and all major receipts. Heritage certificate with MGOC agreed valuation. Minor dinks on bodywork but no rust.
The car was bought by me from an MG dealer in Cheltenham years ago as a rolling shell already sprayed and converted to rhd. This is an ex California car converted to rhd and resprayed from its original red. The colour is almost cream in hue being a shade of Old English White. The engine is from a Land Rover Discovery with less than 9k showing on the original receipt.
