Description
Here for sale is my beloved RS200. Currently on 107, 600 miles. 6 previous owners. Mileage will slightly raise as the car is still in use.
This is a Silverstone GP Edition. One of fifty made and this one has many optional extras like: A/ C, climate control, cup spoiler and automatic lights. All Silverstones came with a gloss black roof, black Speedline wheels, red Brembos, Silverstone badges, Recaros and RS monitors. This is number 21 out of 50.
Exterior:
The exterior is very good condition with only a couple very minor stone chips to the front bumper. The gloss black wheels present very well as the pictures show. All paintwork to my knowledge is original. There is no evidence of non original paint anywhere on the body. All panels line up very well. A lot of these cars have front bumpers which warp over time around the headlight joining. These run flush on both sides. In my ownership, the car has always been kept in a garage.
Interior:
You may see it does have the Recaros, which many RS200 don't have. Not only are they rare, but also very comfortable and present in good condition, bar two small holes as shown in the gallery towards the end. The A/ C is not working currently, however it is getting re gassed on Wednesday 16th September FOC to the buyer. A receipt will also come with the car to show it has been done with a reputable garage. You are also accompanied with an RS monitor, which shows many, many different options such as: lap times, 0-62mph, oil temperature, torque, power, G force. You can hold the two circular buttons on the RHS of the steering wheel to change it to radio or bluetooth connect to your music. Sound quality is very good and the car has uprated speakers. All electrics are working (bar A/ C which is mentioned above) and there are no sticky buttons. In the boot, you are met with a K-brace and toolkit. Parcel shelf does not have speaker holes in. Rear seats have barely been sat in as they are in immaculate condition. Carpets are in very good condition. In my ownership, I have cleaned the car every weekend.
Under the bonnet:
Totally standard in the engine compartment bar the K&N air filter. Cambelt, dephaser and full engine service completed on 03/ 09/ 2026 with invoice to prove from a specialist. The paint is very good on the bonnet and chassis rails too. No surface rust down there. I saw the whole engine bay without the engine in as it was taken out to do the cambelt job. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, however it was very nice after a quick clean. All fluids are full.
Underside:
I specifically got the car under a ramp to take some underside photos for the listing. The underside is good. There is no rust anywhere. I had a good look with a torch. Rear beam is totally solid and only has small amount of paint peeling. To be expected of a 15 year old car on over 100k miles.
Glass: In excellent condition throughout. One small stone chip on drivers side, however not in vision of driving. As eBay only allows 24 photos, this will be pointed out to anyone viewing the car in person.
History:
There is a sizeable amount of history with the car. Many old receipts for parts and old MOT certificates. In there after the V5 is my cambelt and full service invoice totalling £1573. This gives peace of mind, so if you did want to track the car, then you could absolutely thrash it without worrying of a belt going kaput! Many RS 200s for sale have belts due (every 6 years or 72k miles) so if you want one that's had all the hard and expensive work done, then look no further. Prior to me the belt has always been done at the correct intervals. The service book shows it was done in 2021. There are 7 stamps in the book from: 2012, 2013 2014, 2015, 2018, 2020, 2022, Feb 2025 & Nov 2025 + recent service in Sept 2026. It also comes with two key fobs.
Modifications:
Having owned many hot hatches, I would say this car is subtly modified. It is not 100% OEM. List of mods below:
- Scorpion non-resonated cat back exhaust system.
- K-Tec exhaust manifold
- K&N air filter
- JBL speakers front and rear
- Cat delete - MOT due start of Feb, so plenty of time left and if you decided to buy, I can give recommendations of people who would MOT the car.
Overview:
This is the first Clio RS200 I have owned. I bought it out of pure curiosity, coming out of a 1998 106 Rallye. Two very different cars, but I was pleasantly surprised. This car is very loud! That Scorpion is an ear ringer but a good one and sounds amazing in all gears. Extremely good handling but as I'm going back into Vtec ownership, I simply have no use for this anymore. As I have put a deposit on another car, this one needs to go up for sale. I have owned since May this year and covered about 300 miles and spent close to 2k inc my fuel and road tax! It has always had 99. It has been a weekend car and only used in good weather.
Bank transfer only. No warranty as the car is 15 years old. Sold as seen. Thank you for reading.
