Rare 2005 Final Edition XK8 4. 2S for sale. Unveiled on March 1st 2005 at the Geneva International Motor Salon. This car was among the last XK100 XK8's cars off the production line. Only 187 Final Edition 4. 2S Coupes were made.
In recognition of Jaguar’s racing heritage, special badging and accents adorn the Final Edition 4. 2-S: polished door treadplates featuring chequered flag emblems, revised white Jaguar Growler badge on the nose (which features new chequered flag accents on the sides of the emblem), XKR Mesh Grille, Polished Aluminium Pedal Set and finally a 4. 2-S badge at the rear.
AJ-34 4. 2 Litre 300 BHP V8 Engine and 6 Speed ZF Auto Transmission Gearbox from the 2002 upgrade.
Exterior finished in Copper Black Metallic - one of four special exterior colours available on the Final Edition 4. 2-S.
Interior is unique to the 4. 2-S Final Edition model trimmed with soft grain Warm Charcoal leather with contrasting black stitching. (Only -S’ model came with straight stitching on the seats rather than the curved finish on the standard cars).
Fitted with the gorgeous and rare optional Carbon Fibre interior trim - rather than the standard elm veneer. Black carpet with original leather trimmed and embossed 4. 2S floor mats.
The 4. 2-S 2005 has an increased specification over the previous year and features many premium options as standard equipment including:
