I have a spreadsheet detailing the spend on this lot plus lots of receipts . In addition to the parts I have spent £700 with Andy Bell a renowned Two stroke specialist getting the bike set up correctly.
I have a collection of bikes but I am getting to an age where a race replica two stroke is a little too extreme for me so it's just not getting used. This bike isn't perfect there are a couple of small fairing cracks and a none standard temperature gauge (That works really well) .
The bike was MOT'd on the 28-August so lots of MOT left. It passed with no issues. I bought the bike as a restoration project and I have had the bike for 9+ years. It is a matching numbers bike registered in my name.
It runs well and idles properly the recently fitted clutch replacement means it pulls strongly from 7K revs with no slipping. It is amazingly quick for a 250. The handling is amazing being very light and flickable but also stable. The brakes are efficient. Everything works as it should. It starts form cold with choke after 3/ 4 kicks. I never use it until it is warm (50 degrees ish). It is always run on Exol Racing fully synthetic two stroke oil.
I will be sorry to see it go but I have to be realistic i'm getting older (66), tuned two strokes are not really meant for someone with my back issues
I am open to sensible near offers
