Description
Rare Mondeo ST220 MOT'd until July 2027. Owned since 2015 with 1 previous owner.
Lowered on the standard ford approved Eibach Spring option (Ford UK and various Ford dealerships sold Eibach Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs as an official dealer-approved accessory or aftermarket upgrade).
Front brake calipers are 2005 Ford Focus ST calipers (straight swap so easy if next owner wants to put back to standard).
Runs on Petrol or LPG (LPG conversion was done by approved installer and V5 document is updated to show that it is Alternative Fuel / GAS BI-FUEL))
The following work is recommended for any future buyers:
1. Front Calipers need either refurbished or replaced - the driver side front caliper rubs a bit on the disk which causes it to warp over time and puts a vibration through the brake pedal
2. Electric wing mirrors have stopped working (might need a switch replacement but not investigated)
3. For anyone wanting to put the car into Ford shows or similar the body work round the arches would benefit from some attention due to some blistering
4. If you want to run it on LPG the LPG system is due a service (not needed if you intend to just run on petrol)
Note that in the pictures the jack point covers are missing on the side skirts. The car will come with a full replacement set that will just need painted.
Great handling car (look up the Top Gear review). The engine is solid. Never had any engine problems in the 11 years I have owned it.
Its a great option for either a Ford enthusiast who wants a future classic or someone who wants some performance at a low cost while still having room for the family.
