I bought this 1984 Vespa PX 150 E Arcobaleno not by chance, but out of love. I'd been searching for years for a first series PX in Sage Grey 384, an exceptionally rare colour that Piaggio only produced in the early Arcobaleno years. When I saw it, with its original paint still gleaming, not a hint of rust and its original CH registration plate from '84, I knew it was the one.
What I love most about this Vespa is its authenticity. It's not a redone restoration, it's genuinely preserved. Every detail is original: the points that give that unmistakable sound, the glove box with original lock, the black seat with white stitching, the lived-in rear rack, the spark plug marked PIAGGIO. When you ride it you feel the history of its 40 years, yet it fires up first time just like when it left Pontedera.
What makes it unique and different from every other PX for sale:
