I chose this Jeep CJ-7 because I've always been drawn to its character. It's not simply an old off-roader: it's one of those vehicles that exudes personality even when standing still. Its open design, its proportions and the 4. 2 six-cylinder inline engine represent a way of driving and enjoying the motor car that has practically disappeared.
What makes this particular unit special is, above all, the depth of its restoration. In 2016 it was stripped down and rebuilt piece by piece, with attention paid to both the mechanical and aesthetic aspects. Numerous elements were renewed, including the paintwork, brake system, power steering, suspension, lighting and interior. Photographs are retained documenting the various stages of the work undertaken.
Also noteworthy are its homologated 33x12. 50 tyres, the bull bar, the roll bar, the chrome details and the red customisations. All of this gives it a striking and easily recognisable appearance, without losing the classic essence of the CJ-7.
Over the years, this Jeep has also developed its own story. Due to its presence and character, it has been used in audiovisual productions, photo shoots and professional work in Tenerife. It also has its own content on Instagram under the name "CJ7 Experience Tenerife", where photographs and videos of the vehicle can be seen.
My favourite aspect is precisely the combination of its classic character and its presence. It's a Jeep that turns heads without needing to show off. It's a pleasure to drive, to look at and to share, and it always sparks curiosity amongst those who know and appreciate this type of vehicle.
This is not an ordinary unit, but a CJ-7 with a documented restoration, a recognisable identity and a story that sets it apart from other units available on the market.
