I have for sale this Piaggio APE TM 703 ! Engine 218cc a bit more powerful than the 50s ! This is a complete project unfortunately I have no garage the idea was great but I run out of ideas to restore . I have loads of documentation a full comprehensive maintenance manual in English the original Italian log book and copy of the original number plate. Plus loads of other documentation. The new parts I include in the sale are as follows rear bed and tail gate ! Seat, speedo cover , mirrors, wipers, two pairs of front indicator lenses. Pair of rear lights, carb air pipe, speedo cable, Throttle cable, master brake cylinder, 2 x rear brake cylinders, 1 x front brake cylinder. Set of brake shoes. Knob for lever , hub covers, handle bar grips, Used parts L/ h door with window, spare wheel. Engine and internal cover, I have clearance from HM customs and nova ref. I have had the engine running in the past but can’t get it running now although it’s free and not seized. This really has to go I need the space! There is at least £2000 worth of parts! Please please no time wasters this will need trailering away or it will go in a medium size van. Viewing welcome an ideal winter project ! With the chance to really have something unique and add some significant value. I was prepared to pay 4K or so to have someone to restore it but other things have come up. Somebody must be up for the challenge!
Right then I am 3. 5k into this project! How much have I got to loose for someone to pick up the project? I am going to reduce
the price to the minimum! After that I may as well break for spares I really do not want to do that ! If anyone wants the spares or the vehicle then I am happy split. There is great provenance with the vehicle and a great opportunity for someone to make some good money! I have the invoice for the rear bed for nearly £1000! I would consider a swap for an old Lambretta but it must be original and Italian. Any condition!
