CONDITION
Bodywork in very good preserved condition. The fabric hood is intact with no tears, with normal wear and some fading consistent with its age. Normal marks on the lower edge of the sills and small signs of use on the wheels. The photos show the car as it is, signs of age included.

Registered in Italy with clear title and no finance outstanding. As an EU-registered car it moves freely within the European Union: no import duty and no VAT on a private sale. The seller completes the Italian export deregistration. Transport anywhere in Europe can be arranged at the buyer's cost. Viewing and test drive in Latina, one hour south of Rome; independent inspection welcome. Payment by bank transfer, cleared before handover.
The 916 Spider was unveiled at the 1994 Paris Motor Show, designed by Enrico Fumia at Pininfarina: a wedge cut by one sharp line along the flank, with the headlamps set into a one-piece clamshell bonnet. Thirty years on, it still looks like nothing else on the road.
This is a Phase 1 car from June 1996, the first full year of production and before the 1998 facelift – the version collectors look for. The 2. 0 Twin Spark, with two spark plugs per cylinder and variable valve timing, is an engine that loves to rev and sounds the part.
Just over 4, 300 km a year across thirty years is the life of a second car, driven at weekends and in summer. It shows in how the car presents today: this is not a project but a car to enjoy from day one, with the timing belt, the service and the roadworthiness test already taken care of.
