** For keen collectors I'm selling a Kawasaki Z1000A1 motorcycle, first registered in 1977. Recently restored, prepared and modified to the highest standards by a professional restorer. The following chassis work has been carried out: Frame and fork plates fully chromed, the rear swingarm has been replaced with another Kawasaki aluminium unit, also chromed and modified to accommodate a new Kawasaki monoshock. On the top clamp are clearly visible the speedometer and 4 warning lights, steering damper and engine oil temperature gauge. **** An original Kawasaki KZ1000D1 Z1R 1978 fuel tank (21lt.) has been fitted, painted in matt black along with the aluminium side panels and the fibreglass tail-seat built by the same skilled hands back in the '70s. **** The rider and passenger footpegs and chain guard have been lightened, worked and chromed, the spoked wheels in black anodised aluminium with 40 holes and original sizes in compliance with road regulations, front 1. 85X19 and rear 2. 15X18 - New tyres 3. 25x19 and 4. 00x18 - **** Period "Cuppini" clip-on bars, 3 drilled discs, 4-into-1 exhaust. **** The original engine has not been modified, it has been opened and serviced as necessary, painted in high-temperature black, the aluminium engine casings are special finned "Kijima" units. The engine guards are tubular, the airbox has been replaced with 4 filtered velocity stacks.
The motorcycle is in perfect working order with proper documentation, ready for transfer of ownership. I am a private seller and can arrange, by prior agreement, worldwide shipping at the buyer's expense or free collection on site after payment in cash and transfer of ownership have been completed.**** N.
