This bike has always been stored inside, and has never seen the rain (appropriate for a bike named “Sahara”...) The bike is in really great shape and has been well looked after, with very low mileage, the bike has been ridden often but on short runs to Shows, Pub, and Beach etc.... So not been laid up, just used little.... With a very recent MOT (July 26) the Buyer should be confident of a good purchase of this rather unusual and different version of the Classic 500cc.
There is some Service History, but clearly having only covered 3, 000 miles this is brief but all manuals and documentation is included...
The 2016 Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 (often styled in heritage shades like Sahara/ tan or military sand) is an authentic post-war styled retro motorcycle featuring a 499cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, traditional spring saddle, and head-turning looks.
The 500cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single putting out roughly 27. 2 bhp and 41. 3 Nm of torque via a 5-speed gearbox. Offers strong low-end grunt from a standstill and an unmistakable single-cylinder thump, happiest at back-lane cruising speeds around 40 to 50 mph. With gorgeous 1950s aesthetic, excellent fuel economy (approx. 3. 5L/ 100km), highly affordable maintenance, and classic charm.
