Offered for sale is a 1974 Alpine Renault A110 1300 VC, built at Alpine’s Dieppe factory and accompanied by extensive historical documentation.
According to the original documentation issued by Société des Automobiles Alpine-Renault in Dieppe in 1994, the car left the factory on 19 June 1974, built as an A110 1300 to Belgian specification.
The Alpine factory documentation confirms the car’s original Bleu Alpine colour as well as its engine, gearbox and original production specifications.
The car retains its original engine, also confirmed in its Italian ASI Certificate of Identity.
The odometer currently shows approximately 65, 000 km. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual gearbox.
Following its importation into Italy, the car received its first Italian registration in the province of Udine and retains its original UD registration.
A complete restoration was finished in 1994, during which the car was refinished in its original Bleu Alpine colour.
The restoration is extensively documented with period photographs, invoices and supporting records. A substantial history file also documents maintenance and work carried out during subsequent ownership.
Mechanically the car has been regularly maintained and is currently running, driving, road registered and inspected.
Much of the period interior and original character of the car have been preserved. A selection of additional components and accessories collected with the vehicle will also accompany the sale.
The bodywork currently shows some paint imperfections and blistering. Rather than carrying out another cosmetic restoration, the decision has been made to preserve the paint applied during the documented 1994 restoration.
The car is accompanied by an extensive history file including Alpine-Renault documentation from Dieppe, ASI Certificate of Identity, restoration photographs and invoices, maintenance records and additional historical documentation.
