I am offering for sale my Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet, which I have personally owned from brand new.
I originally specified and ordered the car through Mercedes-Benz Cardiff & Newport, taking delivery in August 2003. Having owned the vehicle for over 23 years, I believe it represents a rare opportunity for a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast or collector.
Finished in black, the car is powered by the legendary 5. 4-litre naturally aspirated AMG V8 engine, producing approximately 367 bhp, paired with a 5-speed automatic gearbox.
Throughout my ownership, the vehicle has been maintained by Mercedes-Benz main dealers and independent Mercedes-Benz specialists, with a well-documented service history.
The automatic gearbox has also recently been serviced.
The CLK 55 AMG comes from an era when Mercedes-Benz produced some of its finest naturally aspirated V8 engines, combining effortless performance, traditional build quality and understated styling.
These cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly Cabriolet examples with such a long and traceable ownership history.
Having owned the car since new, I know its history personally, something that is increasingly uncommon with vehicles of this age.
I believe this is a particularly special example of the CLK 55 AMG and one that would make an excellent addition to a Mercedes-Benz collection.
