Mk1 Civic for sale - viable project!
Incredibly rare to find an early Civic in this condition, it’s not perfect, but it’s very solid and very original, and remarkably it’s not rotten.
Boot floor and floor pans are excellent and way above the average for how bad these cars usually are. The doors have a bit of surface rust but again are way above average, three of the four doors are basically perfect. Engine bay is grubby but sound.
The car starts on the button and drives without any major issues. Rare 1500 engine which was the biggest they put into this gen of Civic, it’s nippy!
It does have brakes but one of the callipers is off so the brakes will need a full check before being used on the road.
The car has had new sills at some point but the rear ends both sides need finishing off, this is new metal that needs trimming and tidying up, it’s not active rust repair.
The car is largely original apart from the front wings which have been replaced, so expect lots of dings, scrapes, paint blemishes, small
bits of surface rust etc, but it’s a really charming car and the imperfections really do add to its character.
Still on its original 70’s pressed plates which is lovely.
The car is complete including the side repeaters which are currently off the car.
The interior is in amazing shape and everything inside seems to be working fine.
Overall it’s a very very easy project which could legitimately be done in a weekend or two.
