It’s an honest 24 year old car, so there are age related marks and wear which I have tried to show clearly in the photos.
The central locking currently isn’t operating the door lock pins, so these need to be operated manually.
It isn’t being sold as a pristine collector’s example, but it’s a genuine early R53 Cooper S with some nice features and plenty of character.
We are selling my late father’s 2002 Cooper S. He drove it regularly and used to take it to car shows, and it runs and sounds great, but sadly it stopped being used a few years ago.
We had it MOT’d in May 2026 (Passed) and got it back on the road, but we simply don’t have the need for another car. These are brilliant little cars and we’d much rather see this one go to someone who can give it a little love and enjoy it again.
