Description
Reluctant sale of my Alfa Romeo 166. The family is expanding and we need an estate, so this sadly won't get used.
A very rare car in one of a kind spec: rosso red paint over black leather, 17" teledial alloys, a wooden steering wheel, and (most importantly) a manual gearbox paired to a Busso V6.
It's had thousands spent on it this year alone, so it runs and drives like a dream. It's had a new cambelt kit, spark plugs, coils & injectors, as well as Goodyear Asymmetric tyres all round (addressing the only advisories on the last MOT). It had a full service in April.
Stacks of receipts and lots of stamps for all the work carried out over previous years.
MOT until April 2027, with no rust in the history at all.
101, 000 miles at the time of writing.
Body work is in very good shape for its age, with some minor car park dings on the passenger side (see photos). Interior is in excellet condition too. I have some beige interior panels (door cards, sill covers, etc.) in the garage that I'll chuck in for free if you fancy a colour change.
A few small issues to report:
- The temperature gauge doesn't work. The garage said this is a problem with the needle rather than the temperature sensor. So you'll still get an illuminated warning if it overheats (which it doesn't).
- The rear passenger window doesn't go up or down.
- The air con doesn't work.
Plate will be taken off and put back on the original 02 reg.
