For sale is my 1974 Honda CB 250 G5 in the good/ very good condition. I have owned the bike for 2 years, having bought it at a classic motorcycle auction. It's registered in my name and has had 8 previous owners ( in 50 years) , so it's now tax and MOT exempt. Since buying the bike, I've had the tank and side panels professionally restored and painted in it's original Orange metallic paint. I don't have any history prior to my ownership, but the front gators look new, so it may have had a fork rebuild at some time. Both tyres have lots of tread. It's start on the button, but would benefit from the carbs being stripped and set set up as it doesn't tick over. There's no smoke and the engine sounds sweet. I had one of these ( in the same year and colour) when I was 17, so bought it for nostalgic reasons. I've had a couple of dry summers fun out of it, so it's time to sell it.
With the restored tank and side panels, the bike looks great and the rest is in good to very good original condition. Whenever I take it out, I always get lot of interest and questions. It attracts lots of attention at classic vehicle shows
